BioHere, you'll find Miriam Heddy's misbegotten musings, metacritical whinging, idle speculation, blatant opining, and feminist rants on things fannish and slashy.
If you don't know what slash is, you probably shouldn't bother reading this LJ, as you'll find nothing interesting in this space.
My preference is to try, whenever possible, to avoid academese and jargon, though you'll sometimes see me write sentences long enough to leave you breathless (and not in that good, panting-hot way).
I invite you to comment, link to, and whatnot, and hope that you will recognize that, in so doing, you're joining a larger discourse of fannish meta and that these writings are very much of the moment, and very much me thinking about what I think right now by writing it, which means nothing's certain, even if I often sound like I am.
